OUR PROCESS

We believe that each and every site, and each and every client has the charisma of having an identity, a set of needs, gusto, and requirements that need to be fulfilled.  It is not only an issue of personal tastes but it can also be particularly technical, addressing issues of soil behavior, structural loads, wind patterns, views, solar exposure etc.  Therefore, we  do not believe in standardizing design work with spec houses kept in a booklet, naming them after exotic places or beautiful cities in Europe.  We carry no booklets with ‘spec plans.’

For each project, we assist decision makers in identifying and prioritizing the goals for the design in process, while providing creative and feasible solutions that balance fiscal, environmental, and social objectives. We believe in advancing a holistic approach that facilitates collaboration, incorporates context-sensitive priorities, and addresses the overall life-cycle costs and benefits.  On every project we undertake, we commit to providing a positive result that shall make a better place than it was before our intervention.

For Architectural projects, our policy is to hold an initial consultation in which we shall address the specificities of the site, the owner’s goals and vision and the possibilities allowed by the building codes and the budget.  A good design shall only come out of a clear definition of the problem and the clear understanding of the data, whether that is for an interior renovation of a modest budget house to the design and building of a large commercial or institutional facility. It shall all have to be focused on our client’s own story and vision.

‘Our Requirements Analysis will allow us to fully understand your goals, assess what shall be needed, and prepare an ideal project agenda that will be the basis of our commitment.’

For strictly Engineering scope projects beyond small scale Structural Reports or slight structural modifications, the process will be similar to the one followed for Architectural projects.
